Anyone who's played Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) often enough might've noticed that Sagat and Seth seem to come with a slight edge by default. Are they imba? Or are there just too many skilled Sagat and Seth users out there? Riyota Nitsuma, assistant producer for the game's arcade version, admits: "Yes, Seth and perhaps Sagat might have turned out a little bit stronger than we expected." |

The London MCM Expo accomplished what it set out to do
this year, which
was to set a new world record for most video game cosplayers under one
roof. The recently-concluded Movie Comic Expo at the ExCel Center made
its gaming side headline-worthy once again, and this one is literally
heading for the books. |

The London Movie Comic Media Expo isn't known for its gaming section,
with much of its attendees preferring other forms of entertainment. But
all that's gonna change this year, or improve at the very least,
because apart from the support of some of today's A-list publishers,
the London MCM Expo is attempting to set the World Record for "largest number of people in costume for a video game." |

It was in London that Square Enix talents Yoshinori Kitase and Takeshi
Arakawa answered questions from curious fans about the famed Final
Fantasy series, while promoting - but not limiting the discussion to - Dissidia.
IGN was fortunate enough to have been able to present some questions
from the fans, and what they got were a very interesting outlook on the
series. |

Looks like the BioShock movie is turning out to be a totally
high-budget one - or over-the-budget, as it turns out. Universal
Pictures has stepped on the brakes on the production of the said movie
adaptation of Take-Two Interactive's best-selling game, as the company
tries to reach an agreement with director Gore Verbinski for a more
reasonable budget. |

It's final - nearly a month after Eidos shareholders approved the Square Enix takeover, court has finally approved the publisher's acquisition, making Lara Croft and Tomb Raider part of the Square Enix family, although it doesn't appear that Eidos' operations will be affected too much by the new arrangement. |

A week ago, QJ blogger Glenn wrote about the story of Jamie Durrant, a
Lionhead developer who filed a case against Microsoft after the
company's HR managers "blatantly disregarded" his complaints about
sexual discrimination and homophobic abuse in the office. It seems the case is history, though, Durrant
and Microsoft have apparently reached a settlement agreement. |
