It's final - nearly a month after Eidos shareholders approved the Square Enix takeover, court has finally approved the publisher's acquisition, making Lara Croft and Tomb Raider part of the Square Enix family, although it doesn't appear that Eidos' operations will be affected too much by the new arrangement.

A week ago, QJ blogger Glenn wrote about the story of Jamie Durrant, a Lionhead developer who filed a case against Microsoft after the company's HR managers "blatantly disregarded" his complaints about sexual discrimination and homophobic abuse in the office. It seems the case is history, though, Durrant and Microsoft have apparently reached a settlement agreement.
