Sagat is IMBA - Image 1Anyone who's played Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) often enough might've noticed that Sagat and Seth seem to come with a slight edge by default. Are they imba? Or are there just too many skilled Sagat and Seth users out there? Riyota Nitsuma, assistant producer for the game's arcade version, admits: "Yes, Seth and perhaps Sagat might have turned out a little bit stronger than we expected."

1 vs 100 - Image 1 Microsoft's massively multiplayer online quiz game, 1 vs 100, is free for all Xbox Live Gold subscribers to enjoy. Well, the first season, at least. So far, Microsoft has made no indications that they'll be introducing a subscription fee for future seasons, but neither have they ruled it out.

But all that's gonna change this year, or improve at the very least, because apart from the support of some of today's A-list publishers, the London MCM Expo is attempting to set the World Record for "largest number of people in costume for a video game."

Speaking to VG247 at an EA spring showcase event in London, all Brütal Legend creator Tim Schafer could say without PR guys taping his mouth shut was that the DLC will be "something awesome".

BioShock The Movie - Image 1 Looks like the BioShock movie is turning out to be a totally high-budget one - or over-the-budget, as it turns out. Universal Pictures has stepped on the brakes on the production of the said movie adaptation of Take-Two Interactive's best-selling game, as the company tries to reach an agreement with director Gore Verbinski for a more reasonable budget.

Court approves! - Image 1It's final - nearly a month after Eidos shareholders approved the Square Enix takeover, court has finally approved the publisher's acquisition, making Lara Croft and Tomb Raider part of the Square Enix family, although it doesn't appear that Eidos' operations will be affected too much by the new arrangement.

Settlement - Image 1A week ago, QJ blogger Glenn wrote about the story of Jamie Durrant, a Lionhead developer who filed a case against Microsoft after the company's HR managers "blatantly disregarded" his complaints about sexual discrimination and homophobic abuse in the office. It seems the case is history, though, Durrant and Microsoft have apparently reached a settlement agreement.
