Yep, the Master Chief's still got it. The released Pre-Order charts for the week of September 9 from VG Chartz reveal that Halo 3: ODST has over 1.2 million fans lining up and waiting for its release, thus far.

You've got the games, you've got the limited edition freebies, heck maybe you even have a homemade MJOLNIR armor in your closet. So what else does a Halo-obsessed fan need? Well, what about a Master Chief bust?

Spielberg dipping his hands into the golden Halo franchise? Not entirely surprising, and according to film site IESB, "solid and confirmed three times over with studio executives and close ties to CAA". That's right, the man behind the epic movies Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones and Transformers would like to be a part of the Master Chiefs battles against the covenant, in the full glory of the big Silver.

Hey, Halo fans. Have you ever heard of a novel called Halo: The Fall of Reach? It was a prequel to the first Halo game and told the story of Master Chief and what befell the other SPARTAN-II super soldiers. Aside from setting up the story of Halo: Combat Evolved, why is this novel important? Well, rumor and speculation has it that it could be the basis for the next game in the Halo franchise.

In the latest issue of Game Informer, Bungie has released the first details for Recon, Halo 3's upcoming expansion pack. Sounds like players will be in for a sci-fi Dick Tracy adventure.

Microsoft has put up a Fable 2 support page on Xbox.com where those who bought a copy of the Fable 2 LCE that didn't come with a DLC voucher card can log in with their Windows LIVE ID and ask Microsoft to email them their DLC codes. The site says the codes will be sent out within five working days, but there seems to be a bit of a problem with the timeframe. More in the full article.
