If this product listing on GameStop were to follow through, the Xbox 360-exclusive DLC for Grand Theft Auto 4 will actually also be available via retail. See, they have a listing of GTA4 The Lost and Damned - it's a bundle which includes a download ticket to get The Lost and Damned DLC on XBL, and a two-sided GTA4 poster. Pre-orders are now available. |

Wedbush Morgan analyst and video game industry information guru, Michael Pachter, recently let slip that the next Assassin's Creed game will be set several hundred years beyond the crusades, sometime in the 1700s and perhaps during the French Revolution. Ubisoft had a thing or two to say about that. |

Seems Michael Pachter wasn't off the mark when he predicted that the
Xbox 360 would outsell the PlayStation 3 in October. NPD has revealed
the hardware sales figures for last month and, true enough, the
Microsoft console sold more units than Sony's multimedia monster. Be that as it may, both consoles still paled in comparison to the Nintendo Wii's sales. Sales figures for both software and hardware after the jump. |

Analyst Colin Sebastian talks about how the economic crisis will affect game studios and the life cycle of consoles, something you guys might be concerned with. |
