Xbox 360 Hard Drive - Image 1Michael Pachter is of the opinion that it's only the hard drive size keeping Micrsoft from releasing new digital releases for the Xbox 360. On the other hand, retail stores can whine and groan all they want, but in the end, they are likely not going to have any other recourse but to jump aboard the digital distribution bandwagon because even Microsoft's publishing partners will back this service.

ps3 wii 360The March 2009 hardware sales figures haven't been released yet, so you can expect Michael Pachter and EEDAR to throw in their pre-NPD report forecasts. Some numbers for their projected sales of consoles during last month may vary, but one thing remains similar: the Wii may still be on the lead, but the gap between the PS3 and Xbox 360 seems to be thinning down.

Michael Pachter - Image 1And Michael Pachter's at it once more. What's he got to say this time around? This is the last console generation. Oh, I thought there was gonna be another one, especially after the debut of CryEngine 3 and it being next-gen ready. But am no analyst, so I could be wrong.
