We have another eclectic mix of downloadable Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2) tracks coming next week to the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.

You really do learn something new everyday. Take the announcement for some new Far Cry 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) DLC for example. This DLC batch includes a silenced shotgun, something that I thought only existed in movies. I looked into it a bit, and apparently, it does. Wow. The artists who rocked out at this year's Penny Arcade Expo will also be performing right in your living room! Okay, not literally, but Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that tracks from three of the PAX 2008 bands will be released as downloadable tracks for Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). Namco Bandai recently revealed the new DLC that's supposed to augment your Tales of Vesperia playing experience, and we were surprised to find that it was an otherwise healthy mix of useful DLC that can be bought to make your characters stronger, but not make them uber-powerful for the whole game.
