Banhammer - Image 1 The ongoing Console Live Ban Wave on XBL has elicited a lot of shock and disbelief from Xbox Live customers, particularly with modded consoles. A lot of questions are swirling about as well, and we can imagine plenty of you guys have screamed out in anguish, "Why meeeeeeeeeeeee???" 18 years and up only - Image 1To ensure that users get an age-appropriate environment, Microsoft has decided that the Twitter, Facebook, and Last.fm features soon-to-come on Xbox Live will be restricted to Xbox Live Gold users aged 18 and above. Minors, don't worry. Microsoft is now working on a patch to let you guys use the features, provided that your parents approve, that is.

No, they're not gonna amass an angry mob and trample through the Microsoft gates with torches and pitchforks (although it'd be cool if they did).
