The ongoing Console Live Ban Wave on XBL has elicited a lot of shock and disbelief from Xbox Live customers, particularly with modded consoles. A lot of questions are swirling about as well, and we can imagine plenty of you guys have screamed out in anguish, "Why meeeeeeeeeeeee???" Well, Kushan of #FW@EFnet gave us a little bit more insight as to what this ban entails, so if you're one of them who got the banhammer's kiss of death, read on.

The first batch of DLCs are head to Borderlands this month. "The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned" has just been dated for a November 24th release.

To ensure that users get an age-appropriate environment, Microsoft has decided that the Twitter, Facebook, and Last.fm features soon-to-come on Xbox Live will be restricted to Xbox Live Gold users aged 18 and above. Minors, don't worry. Microsoft is now working on a patch to let you guys use the features, provided that your parents approve, that is.

Codemasters has some goodies for all of you Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PlayStation 3, Xboc 360, and PC) players as the first person tactical shooter's first DLC rolls out for its PC and Xbox 360 versions. We're still a long way from reaching Halo: Reach's Fall 2010 launch, but apparently someone really wanted to show the game off to others that they've leaked out a few blurry shots of it in action.
