Congress and the PotUS office [insert West Wing red tape montage here] gave birth to a new anti-piracy bill which was signed into law as the "Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008" or, in short, PRO-IP. Back in the ESA offices, Michael Gallagher couldn't be any happier. |

Only two words can describe a game like LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and DS): "absolute power". In a video montage featuring Darth Vader's secret apprentice at his finest, you can watch how the game's unique game physics creates a whole new experience for Star Wars fans by making use of the Force in various (and often sadistic) ways.Take a look at the video in the full article after the jump! |

Here's three new trailers for The Simpsons Game in anticipation for its release on October 30. The trailers (for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii) feature Bartman battling it out with Lard Lad, a huge mascot wielding a donut. You might remember the donut titan in one of the series' Halloween specials.
The first trailer shows the fight scene against Lard Lad, where Bartman has to kick his butt... and pull out a few wires while he's at it. The second video shows a clip scene of the after-battle 2D animated sequence, and the third trailer shows a montage of clips from the game (including Lard Lad). The Simpsons Game will be out for the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, PSP and DS by the end of the month. Check out the rest of the trailers after the jump. Because we can't get enough racing games, THQ will be giving us Cars Mater-National as a sequel to Cars. Some of you guys probably grabbed Cars recently off the budget bin for the PS2, PSP, and Xbox 360, but it's never too soon to take a look at its successor.
Well, what can we say? This is Cars, so there are wacky vehicles with faces and personalities. The video below shows us snippets of the gameplay, showing off the various environments players will be competing in. There are also some sweet ramps and little tricks that clearly tag the title as an arcade racer. The game is set to appear on the PS3, Wii, 360, PS2, DS, and GBA this autumn. For those interested in adding a new decent looking racer to your library, check out the gameplay montage embed. |

Hard-hitting beat-em-up action in a blistering pace headed for you in this E3 gameplay montage of Virtua Fighter 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. We get you the latest on Sega's next-gen iteration to their legendary fighting title.
In this video, we see various characters throwing down on their opponents, and it's to note that the movesets are as varied and as smooth as they always were. From the utilitarian hip toss to the flamboyant flipkick, everything is animated to the last detail - right up to the minute of impact. But it's not just the moves that look good. Looking at the video, it's obvious that Sega's upped the bar in terms of fighter costumes. From the grain of silk to the shine of leather, the fabrics that make up the gear of Virtua Fighter's roster are distinguishable from each other - and almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Certainly a very good-looking beat-em-up from Sega. Updates as we get them, and enjoy the video! Buy: [Virtua Fighter 5 (PS3)] Buy: [Virtua Fighter 5 (Xbox 360)] |

With the recent E3 announcement of upcoming F.E.A.R. expansion packs (for the PC and Xbox 360), a lot of us might be wondering what we can expect. We've seen screenshots just the other day, but here's something better: an actual gameplay montage of the F.E.A.R. Proteus Mandate.
Now, remember that Halo 3 video from a few months back that showed nothing but pwnage, pwnage, pwnage? This probably follows in that tradition, but takes pwnage up a notch. Frags in this video are shown in the glory that is "reflex time." Slow-mo, for the F.E.A.R.-deprived. Shooting down enemies, pinning them onto a wall by firing a dart through their head, and blowing them up into itty-bitty pieces that would fit nicely in Hannibal Lecter's little Tupperware containers... All the brutality looks so much better with stylized visuals in reflex time. The F.E.A.R. Proteus Mandate expansion on the PC is to be released simultaneously with its Xbox 360, F.E.A.R. Files (which contains Proteus Mandate and Extraction Point), this fall. |

Jaw-dropping graphics and intense firefight sequences in this first E3 trailer of Midway's BlackSite: Area 51. While we've certainly seen quite a few gameplay videos of the the highly-anticipated FPS title for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, this trailer pretty much takes what we think we know of the game and just amplifies it to the power of awesome.
In this video, we get to a sneak peek at what looks to be the beginnings of BlackSite: Area 51 - where you're still gunning down enemy soldiers of the regular human variety. Things start to go downhill fast as the video segues into a frantic montage of alien-blasting action, from cyborgs to mutants to a giant hydra monster with tentacles large enough to snatch your own chopper out of the sky. Intense stuff, this. No more spoilers from us, enjoy the video. You won't be disappointed. |

This has GOT to be the most pwning Halo 3 beta footage 3V4R! For one thing, it's got good video quality so much so that we don't have to deal with shaky cameras and pixelated viewing, and on top of that, it doesn't have any kids doing voice overs. Not only does the video itself pwn, but the reason why it pwns so much is because that's all what this video shows: different kinds of pwnage! Pwned on a vehicle, pwned in mid-air, pwned from the top, from the side, and from below. Close-quarter pwnage, long-range pwnage, ambush pwnage, sniper pwnage, camper pwnage, double kill pwnage, explosive pwnage, laser pwnage... You get the idea. It's basically a montage of every kind of pwnage you can think of. And more. To make things even more exciting, there's that "This video was made using the Saved Films feature of the Internal Beta. This is not the final content of the game. Everything seen in this video is subject to change." Meaning, things will definitely look better once the game comes out (even though the game looks pretty nice as it already is). Pwnage, yes? Pwn yourself away by clicking the pwn play button below: |
