id Software - Image 1 When ZeniMax scooped up id Software last month, speculation started about possible collaborations between id and Bethesda almost immediately started up. Those looking for new IP from the Doom creator will have to wait a bit longer, though, as id still has their hands full.

Fallout 3I actually did a double-take on this press release right here. Reading the title, I was like, "no way" and then "yes way" and then "whooooa." Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC, which have been reaffirmed by Pete Hines to be exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC, will now also be coming to the PS3 starting this June! And what's more is that not one - but two new DLC add-ons are planned after Broken Steel for all three platforms!

Fallout - Image 1Fans of Bethesda's Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will have something new to look forward to next year. No, not more DLC, but an actual new Fallout game from vets who worked on the first two games in the series (no this isn't the MMO).

Fallout 3 - Image 1Talk about a quick fix. Just earlier today, we reported on the exclusive Xbox 360 DLC for Fallout 3, The Pitt (also available on PC), and how it was bludgeoned with errors, so much so that there was no other recourse but to pull it out. Now we've got word that a fix should be up and about tomorrow.

Fallout 3 - Image 1Despite releasing Fallout 3 for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, Bethesda rep Pete Hines confirms, in his interview with The Bitbag's Torrence Davis, that DLC for Fallout 3 will only be for the Xbox 360 and PC versions. So if you've been looking forward to The Pitt and Broken Steel, then don't count on it.

Fallout 3 - Image 1Could there be a silver lining in the horizon after all? Bethesda is now speaking out about the previously reported Post-Ending Play patch that is supposedly coming to Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 and PC, but denied for the PS3. And according to them, there is no such patch or update coming at all (sharp gasp!). But before you go believing that life is indeed fair and square, you might wanna find out about the catch at the full article.
