Reports got out today saying that the man who handled Xbox Live and MS Game Studios has left the building to make his way back into his old employer, Electronic Arts.

EA Sports MMA at E3 - Image 1Back in E3 at the LA Convention Center, Electronic Arts announced their brave new stab into the mixed martial arts gaming scene, EA Sports MMA for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is going to be developed by the guys who handled Madden and Tiger Woods, EA Tiburon, with the promise that the game will feature a wider variety of moves and fighting styles than the ones we've already seen. It's just been confirmed - via EA Sports president Peter Moore, no less - that the NBA Street  (Xbox 360, PS3, PSP) series is on "official hiatus". Meanwhile, NBA Ballers (Xbox 360, PS3) seem to be also in a bit of a jam.

What of the other players in the gaming industry?
