Rockstar Games' dropped the bomb on the newest multiplayer mode in GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. And they come in parachutes, too.

Who says explosions and underground fistfights don't mesh with disco? Rockstar begs to differ, and the evidence lies in the fierce and funky first trailer for the second Grand Theft Auto IV DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony. You've seen the screenshots, now check 'em out in action.

Rockstar Games has confirmed the release date for The Ballad of Gay Tony, the second Xbox 360 episode of Grand Theft Auto IV. In this side of town, you'll be playing as Luis Lopez, and you'll work under none other than Gay Tony himself. How does that sound? Hit the link for a better picture.

Dutch website Cynamite.de posted some rather interesting screenshots of Rockstar's Max Payne 3 (PS3, Xbox 360). But unfortunately, the interesting part does not lie with how great the graphics look or what sort of clues are scattered about regarding the game.

"I would expect there would be two more pieces of downloadable content for GTA IV (Xbox 360, PS3), that's what  has been indicated to me, although formats are unsure," he said. "It's been indicated to me that would be the case." Apart from that, he is also of the belief that a Part 5 will be coming to join the franchise sometime in the 2011 fiscal year, as well as a possible new GTA title for the PS2 as early as next year.

 Liberty City is getting injected with some glitz and glamor soon with the announcement of The Ballad of Gay Tony, the second downloadable episode for Grand Theft Auto IV. In contrast to the seedy biker gangs in the first episode, this one will focus more on Liberty City's high-end night life.

Rockstar Games wasn't kidding when they said this is just a "Teaser" trailer for Max Payne 3 (PS3, Xbox 360). That frozen image you see on the embed below is simply the only thing you'll find in this vid. Well, not entirely though, cos they do show Rockstar's logo at the beginning, as well as the "Winter 2009" mark at the end.

Somebody sure is playing coy. Well, a lot of them sure are, especially when it comes to confirmations pertaining to announcement/ reveals/ launches that are E3-related. Take for example Rockstar's rumored Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, PS3) downloadable content. Their answer to the rumor: "We don't comment on rumor and speculation."

With rumors running rampant about the Xbox 360-exclusive Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC also creeping its way to the PlayStation 3, Microsoft is quick to douse the flames. Contacting Gamespot to, hopefully, drive the nail into the coffin, they gave a succinct: "The [GTAIV] episodes are exclusive to Xbox 360."
