Speaking to Destructoid about Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, producer Craig Derrick from LucasArts explained the motivation behind updating the game. He goes on about the main reasons for the decision, but citing digital distribution as an important factor in making the Special Edition possible, the producer adds that digital distribution itself increases interest in retro gaming. |

Usually, when a good title is announced to have a sequel, fans take it as good news. That's not the case apparently for Left 4 Dead's (Xbox 360, PC) community base. Over at Steam's Community Groups, some 15,000 members (and counting) are calling for a boycott of Left 4 Dead 2, and with a lot of reasons to back them up. Not getting why they're all so upset? EenVandaag, a Dutch current affairs TV program, recently conducted a survey on their youth's downloading habits. What the survey found was that a whopping 93% of the youngsters download content in a manner that most laws would consider illegal, citing the use of BitTorrent among other popular download programs. |

Total recall for Terminator Salvation
on PC as Evolved Games received numerous complaints of error messages
when installing the game. The publisher has now pulled out all retail
copies of the game to fix the defect that "occurred during replication". |
