Brutal Legend - Image 1If you'll remember, Activision slapped Double Fine Productions with a lawsuit concerning Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) back in June. The lawsuit cast a shadow over the game's planned October release, but now it seems everything's finally good to go.

Brutal Legend - Image 1Yes, Brütal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) will be getting DLC. We just don't know what kind yet. Speaking to VG247 at an EA spring showcase event in London, all Brütal Legend creator Tim Schafer could say without PR guys taping his mouth shut was that the DLC will be "something awesome".

Brutal Legend - Image 1And here I was thinking that Electronic Arts finally loosened up. John Riccitiello, EA's CEO, recently remarked in an interview that Tim Schafer's Brutal Legend (the one with Jack Black) is a "significant creative risk." Awww. Hope a publisher picks up the game soon.

Brutal Legend - Image 1When's Brutal Legend (PS3 and Xbox 360) coming out, you wonder? We're thinking the same, too. Although our guess is that it's gonna be as soon as they find that one publisher who'll take the game under its wing. They're on the hunt for a publisher, yes. How's it going thus far?
