We have a rather sizeable haul of new games this week. The cream of the crop includes such titles as Tekken 6, DJ Hero, Forza Motorsport 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and that undying (not undead -- no, that would actually be cool) Petz series. If "graphics" is the name of the game, then Ubisoft won't shy away from the opportunity to shine, especially with what they've done with Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). In fact, they're so proud of their work that they took real-life photos and placed them side-by-side with their in-game counterparts. You be the judge.

Ubisoft has been quite vocal about where they're taking the Assassin's Creed franchise. We know Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will have quite an ending, and it's no secret that the games are all part of a trilogy. That's the thing though - Yannis Mallat could be teasing that there might not be an ending to Desmond's story.

If there's any publisher out there right now that comes to mind with the word, "Assassin," it's Ubisoft, referring of course to its Assassin's Creed franchise. Interestingly enough, the publisher was spotted filing for a trademark for the word, and seeing as they already have ones for Assassin's Creed, it's time for another guessing game as to what this one is for.

You better have a few snacks close at hand when you finally get to play Assassin's Creed II (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC). The British Board of Film Classification says the game has about 3 hours' worth of cutscenes.
