Who needs the Wiimote when you can just use... nothing at all? That's the principle behind the motion-sensing camera tech from 3DV, and it looks like Microsoft wants first dibs on it. Are we going to see a new peripheral for the Xbox 360, or are they hunting for tech to put into their next Xbox console? |

You'd think the Wiimote would be the ultimate controller for shooters, but having to switch between the D-pad and the A button every time you change weapons just makes for clunky gameplay. The solution? Slap a track ball on the A button! And that's just what AcidMods did. Check out a vid of their latest mod after the link. Another thanks to Mark for the tip off! |

Remember that news bit that we picked up about the Xbox 360 Wiimote clone project? It had a lot of us riled up, didn't it? There's more fuel being thrown to the fire as a new post suggests that the project's name is "Newton"- after the great physicist who gave us the three laws on motion. Details are in the full article. |

More and more people are using the concept of the Wiimote technology, from engineers to scientists. Joining the bandwagon, it seems, is no other than Microsoft. We just learned that the company has been developing an Xbox 360 version of the Wiimote. We even got the sketch of it. Find out more on this in the full article. |
