The next Tomb Raider game will be an open-world, survival horror series reboot that has Lara Croft fighting against the love child of F.E.A.R.'s Alma and Wolverine. At least that's the vibe I'm getting from these supposedly secret images of the new game that were recently leaked onto the Web.

There's also something exciting going on within your Xbox 360s and PlayStation 3s which, believe it or not, does not have anything to do with the festivities at the LA Convention Center. Say, like the arrival of the downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PS3 X-Men Origins: Wolverine (also on Wii, DS, PSP).

Although info didn't come from the Activision presswire, IGN has confirmed that the wise-cracking merc will be part of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (DS, Wii, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360). I'm guessing that it would be Deadpool's strong performance and sheer coolness in the first Ultimate Alliance that brought him back. Let's just face it, he's way too cool.

Have you guys seen "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"? I haven't but I hear they totally butchered Deadpool's character in the movie. Be that as it may, Raven Software, the development studio behind the X-Men Origins: Wolverine video game, has expressed interest in making a Deadpool game.

Well if I heal quickly and have adamantium blades shooting up and down my knuckles, heck, I'd be as wild as he is. Anyway, here's yet another trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP), where our boy takes on fellow X-Man Gambit, and the immovable Blob.

If you weren't planning on pre-ordering X-Men Origins: Wolverine, maybe this new promo from GameStop can change your mind. Pre-ordering it from GameStop will give you access to the custom combat arena, an environmental simulator, and an extra challenge level.

He's the best at what he does. And what he does isn't very nice. He steals candy from babies. Ok, no, Wolverine won't do that. He's too nice for that. But he will impale baddies on his claws whenever he gets the chance.

Looks like that recently announced Marvel MMO game is still quite a ways off. Marvel Comics bigwig Simon Philips reveals that the team is aiming for a 2012 release. But why take that long? According to him, they're planning to make it coincide after the rush of Marvel movies to hit theaters (The Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man 2, Spider-man 4, X-Men Origins...). Aside from that, there are developmental matters to consider as well.

Snikt! Unleash those adamantium claws, bub. We're watching the first ever trailer for the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine game. It's in pure CG animation and looks almost exactly like what you see in the trailers for the movie. Man, the only thing lacking here in this trailer is Deadpool.
