There's this guy named OBsIV who is so brilliant that he was able to play Halo 2 on the Xbox 360 with Nintendo's motion-sensing remote controllers Wiimote and Nunchuk. According to our guy, he calls this project "Xbox 360 Input Machine" or "XIM" and definitely providing Wii60 owners the best gaming experience.
Aside from the obvious and already mentioned tools, OBsIV also used the peripheral XFPS 360. He added that one great thing about the accessory is that it circumvents the Xbox 360's security which usually prohibits third parties from creating alternate input devices, not to mention it being able to convert PS2 controller input to Xbox 360 input. The developer did a lot of other things with the project that concerns hardware, software and even firmware. If you want to know the technical details, you can click on our Read link below and browse through the project's whole description. If you only want to be amazed, then go ahead and watch the video below. |

Team Xtender has posted some anticipated videos of their new product for the Xbox 360, the XFPS 360. The XFPS 360 is a keyboard & mouse controller adapter for the Xbox 360 in which you can use your mouse and keyboard in an actual game, mainly focused at a FPS game! You can also use your old PS2 controller with this adapter for those that prefer the PS2 controller over that of the Xbox 360's. The XFPS will revolutionize the way FPS are played on the Xbox 360, and may even stir up the online community as a few sharpshooters are popping bullets into your head left and right. The creators of XFPS have uploaded a few videos (3 total) of the XFPS in action, of which will show you it being connected (requires a wired controller to setup, and works flawlessly from the video. I'll be getting one of these to review shortly, so I'll post my full impressions of this new product when it arrives on my doorstep, probably the day after Christmas! You can view the videos after the jump! Purchase: [Official Reseller - Videogameadvantage] Product Webpage: [TeamXtender] |

And because you guys asked (or more specifically, XCM and Team Xtender's been inundated with emails), yes they can confirm that you CAN customize your button setups with the XFPS! SO if you're not WSAD and more of the D-pad (er, keys), you can do that. The other pic XCM released is a JPEG of a naked molerat the thing's manual, where you will see the panel entitled "b. Custom Configuration." Enough said. |

Ready to whip up a freaky Fuzion Frenzy ho-ho-ho? Did you suddenly realize that you're gonna need a couple more Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers to whip up said frenzy? Amazon.com has them, at US$ 12.00 off, for US$ 37.99 with FREE Super Saver Shipping. (N.B.: baby in picture provided by Amazon not included in package. Because that would just be sick and wrong. But doesn't he look so happy?)Further deals: box the controller with the Quick Charge Kit, pay only US$ 62.94 as opposed to US$ 79.98. And if you and your friends will be burning the midnight oil, the Yule logs, and half of Santa's reindeer playing party games (or DOAX2) on the 360, you'll be needing that Quick Charge Kit. If you're thinking of recycling a few old controllers in the house, though, Team Xtender's XFPS 360 would be preferred. Sorry, picture in the backlinked article doesn't include happy baby holding device (We're serious. That was one of the pictures in the page for the Amazon 360 controller deal, and the first one that loaded when we opened the page). |

You folks probably heard about Team Xtender's project, the XFPS 360. With this multi-purpose port designed for Microsoft's next-gen console, gamers can now use different input devices for their 360s. The good news here, folks, is that Team Xtender finally announced exactly when the XFPS 360 will be released for interested resellers. The devs said that this will be released on December 19 (they did promise it would come out before year's end). This also means that starting December 19, gamers everywhere can start placing orders and have their units shipped from various retailers. The devs are encouraging those interested resellers first to contact them through email: sales@teamxtender.com. For those who aren't very familiar with the device, here are some of the features that will allow Xbox 360 players to enjoy games on their consoles more:
