When was the last time you felt scared? Not just my-girl's-gonna-let-me-have-it scared, I'm talking soil-yourself-shamelessly scared. True enough, there might not be a video game out there that'll make you literally crap your pants, and it's far too impractical (and stupid) to find Leatherface to force your dinner down the backdoor. That said, let's just take a look at the things that come close.

If this one's for real, then this would be the Zombie Survival Guide for Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). This vid supposedly leaked out of a loosely turned Valve, and since our last experience with a Valve leak turned out to be legit, this one might be as well. Leaked or fake though, this one's a good watch.

It looks like Dead Center and Hard Rain are indeed the last two campaigns in Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). Both have been spotted in a list of achievements unearthed by the folks at Xbox360Achievements. The 50-achievement list gives out a total of 1,000 points and also gives us a glimpse at some new features, including a defibrillator that can be used to revive dead Survivors.

The next Resident Evil movie, dubbed Resident Evil: Afterlife, has now been announced and production has begun in Toronto, Canada. Milia Jovovich will be returning as the overpowered, zombie-pwning Alice, while Claire Redfield will still be played by Ali Larter. The rest of the ol' crew will be meeting again on-set, but they will be joined by a new face - Wentworth Miller, who will play Chris Redfield.

Those who've been waiting for Zombie Apocalypse, good news. The developer, Nihilistic, posted on its blog that Konami Digital Entertainment has finally set your date with hordes of undead. Apocalypse is nigh, and the zombies are mindlessly rushing to both XBL and PSN next week. Details after the jump.

Moving along in our PAX 2009 coverage done in cooperation with the fine folks at Left4Friends, we're taking a look at Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC), Valve's much-contested follow up to last year's Left 4 Dead. PopCap Games has already expressed their intentions of eventually bringing Plants vs. Zombies to home consoles, and it looks like they've decided to start with the Xbox 360.

With the game breaking the 11 million mark last month and the unprecedented success of the 2 previous Map Packs, Activision and Treyarch have revealed today the first details of the upcoming Map Pack 3 for Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii).

Let's have a look at the news that made headlines on our Xbox 360 blog. We've still got Left 4 Dead 2 taking the top spot with the most number of news items released this week, thanks to the constant barrage of updates from Lombardi and the rest of the Valve team. There's also a couple of profile trailers for the ladies of Tekken 6, announcements,updates... But the treat of the week (at least for me) would be modder-extraordinaire Benhecks' resurrection in the scene with the release of his latest concoction, the Xbox 360 Portable Revision 5.

If you're going to be in the San Diego area on the 23rd, you may want to stop by the San Diego Comic Con and score some points in Valve's zombie apocalypse simulator. Who knows, it might come in handy when the dead really start walking the earth.
