Yesterday's Resident Evil 5 news from Famitsu felt like a horde of zombies hitting a huge industrial fan. While everyone seems to be talking about the demo (and all other brouhaha over it), another bit of info from Famitsu was Japan's Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition. Today we finally get to see the damned thing. Turns out the limited edition really is going to be limited. There's only a quick time period in which people can pre-order a copy of it.

It's not as big a batch of screens as last time, but hey, that's not stopping us from flying off the handle for Resident Evil 5 again - and just as some of you would have it, this batch of screens are indeed going batty. Zombie-batty, that is.

Earlier this year, Capcom was sued by the firm handling George A. Romero's zombie films, the MKR Group. The lawsuit accused Dead Rising of being too similar to Dawn of the Dead. Now, a Judge has ruled that the lawsuit can be dismissed because MKR simply can't sue Capcom for something that isn't protected. Meanwhile, Capcom may have won the case, but at a rather sour note, the Judge also gave quite a stinging remark about the game.

Add Rob Zombie to the list of rockers going the videogame route. In an interview with Bloody-Disgusting, Zombie revealed that his new single "War Zone" may be coming to either Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS2, PlayStation 3, Wii) or Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Wii).

Zombies are everywhere these days. It seems there's a zombie-themed game in development right now for every single gaming console. Heck, they've even crossed over into the Call of Duty franchise via World at War's new bonus four-player co-op mission.

A new ad that popped up on Rockstar Social Club got the folks at Joystiq speculating that the Xbox 360 DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV might involve a potential zombie outbreak.

That would be freaky sweet.

The rumor that Crysis will get ported to the PlayStation 3 is so old that I'm beginning to think it's actually true. The latest Official PlayStation Magazine UK has an all new batch of rumors we can chew on, and if there was any justice in the world, they're all true. Check 'em out after the link!

If you're a fan of alien slaughter, you'd probably remember Alien Breed as a cult classic. Oh man, it's up there among the ranks of Zombies Ate My Neighbors (for the zombie fans) and Bionic Commando (for the militaristic Tarzan types). So guess what we heard today? Team17 is actually re-releasing Alien Breed next year, but... at what form will it take and for what console? DLC, remake, port, or what?

Chris Redfield will be gunning down zombies in Resident Evil 5 with style! Rawr! It's just been confirmed by RE5 producer Jun Takeuchi that the game will indeed be heading for the TGS this year, and that they will be showing RE5's new and improved control system that could possibly set the fifth installment apart from its previous successors' stop-aim-shoot combat system.
